Florence Cadet

My husband, daughter, two turtles and I enjoy living in Anderson Creek Club. I am originally from the British Caribbean Island of Montserrat.  I met my husband in Puerto Rico and moved to the United States over 30 years ago! ACA is my home away from home.  I was asked to teach Spanish part time some years ago.  It was such a pleasure that I now teach Spanish and MLL( Multi-Language Learners) full time.  I hope to open the young minds at ACA to learning about and experiencing the cultures, language and traditions of people in Spanish Speaking countries all over the world.  In teaching these young minds, I hope they will be able to interact on a global level to make changes and solve problems worldwide. In essence,  to touch the future on a daily basis!  I hope that the scholars at ACA would learn that learning/knowing another language is an absolute privilege and should be embraced.

I earned my Masters Degree in Elementary Education K-6 From Campbell University in 2000 and am actively licensed in North Carolina.
